AS IF – As If as an NLP definition is to pretend to act “As If” something were already true. As an example pretending you are at competent at something you are not. This acting as if creates the pretense and increases your capability. To presuppose some situation or experience encourages creative problem solving, by mentally going beyond apparent obstacles to the desired outcome.
