Day 4: What was I thinking last night, of course I’m going to succeed! It’s amazing the difference a day makes, especially when you are doing something a little differently to what you are used too.
Like I’ve said already, this program isn’t a diet, however I have made changes to the foods I eat and more importantly to the quantity of what I eat and when I eat.
Perhaps it will help if I give you an idea of what I’m eating. This is what I’ve had today.
Breakfast: Muesli with low fat yogurt and a small banana.
Lunch: 1 1/2 egg omlette with bacon, parma ham and goats cheese roll.
Dinner: Roast Lamb, Roasted Sweet Potato and Red Capsicum and ratatouille.
Do you remember my non negotiable? Well, today I organsied it so that my walk was to the cafe and back. And boy did my latte taste good! The great news is that’s all I ordered. I was able to stand at the counter and admire the beautiful patisseries without the desire to try something new, which I’ve been known to do in the past. Trust me, I know this place well, I’m on a first name basis with most of the staff.
Something I learnt from my trip to the cafe today was that with the correct mindset and will power anything is possible (Thank you coach). It’s all about having the right mindset, and that goes for anything in life.
I’ll leave you with this to think about. What you think about you feel, what you feel you take action on, and those actions give you your results.
