This program works, and the proof is in my numbers. Today was my 30 day check-in and I’m over the moon. I’ve met my weight target goal – I’m down 4.1kg’s (my target was 4kg’s) and even better than that I have lost a total of 26.25cm.
And, even better than that, I feel great. I’ve got more energy, I’m sleeping better, I’m feeling fitter, my clothes are looser, the food I’m eating tastes great, and I don’t feel like I’ve missed out on a thing. Oh, and my dogs are looking leaner too.
When I look back to 30 days ago, I distinctly remember thinking to myself, this isn’t the best time to start a new regime, it was just before Easter and I came up with at least a dozen reasons why I shouldn’t start. Thank god I didn’t listen to myself, I’d be 30 days behind where I’ve got to, and probably have a hundred and twelve reasons not to begin. I know what it’s like to stall on something, I believe the correct terminology is procrastination, and had I delayed my start it may never have eventuated.
There’s a bit of a moral here, and there are a huge number of quotes and inspirational topics based on this. Thomas Jefferson said it best with, “Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.” These are great words of wisdom, and can have an extremely positive impact on your life if you choose to live by them. When you find yourself putting more and more ticks next to tasks you have completed you begin on an upward spiral toward success.
I’m off to get some shut eye, so I can be bright eyed and bushy tailed in the morning. There’s a lot to get through this week, so I need to remain focused and on task. Bring on the next 30 days, I’m on a roll here. Night all xx
